Life starts at age 55! Just ask anyone who participates in the Adult 55 & Over League. The level of enthusiasm the players demonstrate is a great example of the true meaning of tennis as a lifetime sport. Although the age requirement to participate in the Adult 55 & Over League is 55, many participants are in their late 70’s and a few are playing well into their 80’s.
Local team play is available in Men’s and Women’s 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 9.0 Combined for the Adult 55 & Over and Adult 65 & Over divisions, with team matches consisting of three doubles matches. If your computer rating is from 2021 (under the age of 60) or 2022 (60 & Over) to present, that rating must be used, however, if your rating is prior to 2021 (under the age of 60) or 2022 (60 & Over) or you have not had a previous computer rating, you may self-rate.
Winning local teams advance to a State Championship, with a chance of advancing to the Sectional Championship and on to the National Championships.
Come on, it’s never too late to play tennis!
