The CTA ACE Program

‘Advocate, Champion, Elite”

USTA Georgia’s CTA Developmental Pathway

Community Tennis Associations are central to achieving the mission of growing tennis in Georgia and advancing the vision of offering a “full range of tennis activities that enhance peoples’ lives in every community in Georgia.” in 2010, a CTA Task Force was formed to examine ways to strengthen CTAs in the state of Georgia, including establishing guidelines and/or recommended best practices. This CTA Task Force developed a “developmental pathway” that recognizes and rewards progress in implementing” bst practices” in several areas. The CTA Task Force has set forth a recognition program for CTA;s called – ACE. The “ACE Program” is designed to recognize and reward CTAs who achieve progression through the levels of development.

The ACE Program establishes criteria and associated benefits at three different levels. Level 1 is the Advocate level. Level 2 is the Champion level. Level 3 is the Elite level. The program will be a useful inducement to encourage greater professionalism and implementation of best practices.
