We spotlight the great work of the Clarke-Oconee Tennis Association (COTA)!
COTA recently celebrated their 25th anniversary of service to the Clarke, Oconee, Barrow, Morgan, Madison, Jackson and Oglethorpe counties.
COTA was the featured Community Tennis Association in the latest “What’s New With CTA’s & Parks” national newsletter. It highlighted their community impact efforts, in particular support with the East Athens Inner City Tennis Club. They also drive community growth through their popular Tennis Apprentice program, offering discounted beginner lessons.
Junior Team Tennis is back in business this past fall season, with 61 players, 12 teams and 4 facilities hitting the courts! On the adult league side, Angela Crowe’s 6.5 Combo team was just crowned USTA Georgia State Champion and will represent the Peach State in Mobile this upcoming March at the USTA Southern Sectional Championships.
