Georgia’s Rome Tennis Open descends on Rome Tennis Center at Berry College this week

The USTA Pro Circuit stops in Rome this week with the Georgia’s Rome Tennis Open W75 event.  Featuring Georgia players Kylie Collins, Ava Rodriguez, Mia Yamakita, this is a great chance to watch high-level professional women’s tennis up close.  

The tournament will be played at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College indoor courts.  Admission is free.  Qualifying starts Monday and action continues all week, culminating with the doubles final on Saturday and singles final on Sunday.  The defending singles champion is Calhoun’s McCartney Kessler, who since has gone on to win 2 WTA Tour titles in the past 12 months.
