Throughout the state, thousands of students are participating in high school tennis. From a local junior varsity match all the way to the Georgia High School State Championships, USTA Georgia salutes all the high school players and coaches throughout Georgia that are representing their school.

GRANTS
HIGH SCHOOL TENNIS TEAM GRANT – USTA Georgia and the Georgia Tennis Foundation are proud to support High School Tennis Programs across the state. This grant offers up to $250 in equipment assistance to approved High School Tennis Teams. Funding can be used for essential equipment such as tennis balls, racquets, nets, uniforms and other necessary items to help teams thrive. SCHOLARSHIPS
The Georgia Tennis Foundation is proud to offer scholarships to Georgia youth players who are pursuing both academic and athletic excellence in college. Currently, three scholarships are available for application. The scholarship application for the 2024-25 academic year will remain open until 11:59 PM on March 31, 2025. Scholarship recipients will be notified via email by April 30th. Click HERE for a list of available scholarships.

2024 USTA GEORGIA POSITIVE ATHLETE STATE WINNERS
As part of USTA Georgia’s partnership with The Positive Athlete Foundation, Past President Dom Masciantonio has announced the state winners for both girls & boys tennis. Congratulations to Krislene Mimy-Mathews (Shaw High School) & Graham Bauer (North Atlanta High School) on being named the Georgia High School tennis “Positive Athlete”. Each will receive a $1,000 scholarship towards furthering their college education from USTA Georgia.
