On October 4th, the Georgia Tennis Foundation hosted its NJTL Leadership Camp at the South Fulton Tennis Center, bringing together 75 participants from 6 NJTLs across the state. The day kicked off with on-court drills, skill development, match play, and strategy sessions led by NJTL coaches. After lunch, the group heard from guest speaker Patrick Muhammad, who shared powerful insights on agriculture and the importance of farming. Each participant then planted their own lettuce to take home and nurture. The camp concluded with a lively Quiz Bowl, a team-based challenge covering tennis history, player highlights, college tennis, and the rules of the game. Participants put their knowledge and teamwork to the test with South Atlanta CTA and The Overhead Foundation answering 32 of 35 questions correctly and becoming our co-champions.
Special thanks to our hosts at South Fulton Tennis Center and all the chapter leaders who support these outreach events!
