The US Open Qualifying draw begins on Monday August 18th and features players with local ties to the Peach State.
Competing in the women’s qualifying singles are former University of Georgia standouts Darja Vidmanova & Maria Lourdes Carle. Vidmanova was the 2025 NCAA singles champion and led the Bulldogs to their third national team championship in May.
Competing in the men’s singles are three former Georgia junior players, Chris Eubanks (Georgia Tech), Garrett Johns (Duke) & Andres Martin (Georgia Tech). In addition, former UGA 2-year standout Tyler Zink will also compete in New York this week.
