The USTA has honored the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College as one of the winners of its 2025 Outstanding Facility Awards, a program that recognizes excellence in the design, construction, and programming of tennis venues across the country.
Rome Tennis Center was named in the Public Courts: Large Tennis Centers (12 or more courts) category, joining a select group of facilities celebrated at an awards reception during the US Open in New York.
As the nation’s largest single-surface hard court facility, the Rome Tennis Center features 60 courts spread across a world-class complex. In addition to hosting major junior, collegiate, and professional tournaments, the center serves as a year-round hub for local and regional tennis, offering programs for players of all ages and skill levels.
This national recognition highlights the Rome Tennis Center’s role not only as a premier competition venue, but also as a community asset that helps grow the sport of tennis in Georgia and beyond.
