USTA Georgia is once again proud to be a partner with the Positive Athlete Foundation.
The Positive Athlete Foundation is a recognition program that celebrates high character, high school student-athletes and coaches who have overcome difficult circumstances, given back to their schools and communities in a significant way or just have an infectious positive attitude that makes everyone around them a better person.
To that end, each year USTA Georgia awards the Girls & Boys High School Tennis state winners with a $1,000 scholarship to help further their academic endeavors.
Congratulations to Krislene Mimy-Mathews (Shaw High School, Columbus) & Graham Bauer (North Atlanta High School), the recipients of the 2024 Georgia “Positive Athlete” for Girls and Boys Tennis respectively.
We salute Krislene, Graham and all the nominees throughout the Peach State for their efforts in being an inspiration to us all.
