The first-ever Mary Hatfield Invitational wrapped up with an incredible display of talent, energy, and sportsmanship. With 50 teams competing across 10 divisions from Alabama, Kentucky, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, South Carolina and Tennessee, the courts were alive all weekend with fierce rallies and unforgettable moments.
Georgia teams delivered a strong showing, claiming 1st place in 7 of the 10 divisions and 15 of the 20 total 1st and 2nd place finishes.
But the real highlight was the tournament itself. Teams from across the region came together to celebrate junior tennis, bringing determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship to every match. Fans, families, and coaches filled the stands, creating an electric atmosphere that matched the intensity on the courts.
As the inaugural event closed, it was clear that the Mary Hatfield Invitational set a high standard for years to come—offering top-level competition, building lasting friendships, and creating unforgettable memories for young players from seven states.
