Tennis on Campus offers college students the perfect way to stay in the game—combining competition, camaraderie, and fun in a co-ed team format. Players get to represent their schools while enjoying a healthy, social, and active outlet beyond the classroom. Each match features men’s and women’s singles and doubles, along with a mixed doubles showdown, making every round an exciting team effort.
This past weekend, the action was buzzing in Rome, Georgia, as Georgia Tech hosted the annual Tennis on Campus Yellow Jacket Invitational at the beautiful Rome Tennis Center at Berry College.
Thirty-two teams from across the USTA Southern Section—nine representing Georgia schools—brought their energy and school pride to the courts. After a weekend packed with intense rallies and spirited sportsmanship, it all came down to an all-Georgia faceoff in the Gold Bracket final. The Georgia Tech White team clinched the championship title with a win over UGA A, capping off an incredible weekend of collegiate tennis.
A huge thank-you goes out to Georgia Tech Club Tennis for organizing and hosting such a successful event. Their hard work helped create a weekend full of fun, competition, and community for college players across the South!
