The stage is set for one of the most exciting weekends of the junior tennis season as the 2026 Junior Team Tennis (JTT) State Championships return to Macon, July 17–19.
After months of local league competition, the state’s top Junior Team Tennis squads have earned the opportunity to compete for a Georgia state championship. Players from across the Peach State will gather at John Drew Smith Tennis Center and Randy Stephens Tennis Center for three days of spirited competition, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
Junior Team Tennis is more than just winning matches—it’s about building friendships, developing sportsmanship, and learning the value of competing as a team. Throughout the weekend, players in the 10U, 12U, 14U, and 18U divisions will represent their local communities while showcasing the skills and teamwork they’ve developed throughout the season.
The championship features co-ed team competition, creating a unique atmosphere where every line counts and teammates cheer one another on from the first point to the final match. Whether it’s a dramatic singles comeback or a decisive doubles victory, every player plays an important role in their team’s success.
In addition to the on-court action, participants can look forward to a fun championship atmosphere complete with player gifts, event activities, and opportunities to celebrate the accomplishments of every team that qualified for the event.
USTA Georgia extends its appreciation to the Macon Area Tennis Association, tournament staff, volunteers, officials, and the many coaches, captains, and parents whose dedication makes this championship possible.
