2026 TOC National CHampionship
We proudly congratulate the Georgia Tech Club Tennis team on the great achievement in reaching the finals of the 2026 TOC National Championship held in Fort Worth, TX, April 16-18, 2026.
Georgia Tech Club Tennis had another inspirational run back to the finals at the Tennis On Campus National Championship. The path looked a little different from previous years, as the Yellow Jackets earned their bid to Nationals by winning Club of the Year for the Southern Section.
“After a tough 7th-place performance at the sectional tournament, we came to Nationals with an attitude to play as a team and support each other through every match”, said Andrew Pietkiewicz, GA Tech’s club president. Even after losing to Yale in pool play, the team remained positive and focused, landing a spot in the Gold bracket.
Their match against Virginia Tech was not an easy one. They applied their strategy of supporting each other as a team and came from behind to clinch victory in mixed doubles. They went on to beat San Diego State University and SMU to get to the finals. In the championship match, Georgia Tech fell short against the UCLA Bruins with a score of 28-12.
“More than the result, our team had a great time, cheering on each other and other friends from USTA Southern, and we were so thankful for the opportunity to be there!”, shared Pietkiewicz.
