Two of LaGrange’s top amateur tennis players are preparing to take their games to the national stage, as Chattahoochee Area Tennis Association (CHATA) standouts Jorges Encinas and Manuel Bustamante head to Surprise, Arizona, for the USTA NTRP National Championships, hosted by the United States Tennis Association April 10 – 12.
For both players, the opportunity represents the culmination of years of dedication and a dominant run through local, state, and sectional competition. Encinas, a fast-rising talent making his national debut, and Bustamante, a seasoned veteran returning for his third consecutive appearance, have helped put LaGrange on the map as a growing tennis hotspot in the Southeast. Now, with momentum, experience, and a shared goal of bringing home a national title, the duo is set to test themselves against the country’s best.
