The 2026 USTA National Level 4 Intersectional Showdown brought together many of the nation’s top junior players for four championship events held across the country. The closed national events featured players from Eastern, Southern, Texas, and Southern California Sections. The Boys’ and Girls’ 12s Intersectional Showdown was hosted by the Eastern Section at the USTA National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York, the Boys’ and Girls’ 14s by USTA Texas at the Austin Tennis Academy in Austin, Texas, the Boys’ and Girls’ 16s by USTA Southern at Champions Club Tennis Complex in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and the Boys’ and Girls’ 18s by USTA Southern California at Lakewood Tennis Center in Lakewood, California.
Players earned selection to the Intersectional Showdown based on the National Standing List published on June 26, making the opportunity to compete a significant accomplishment. A total of 24 boys and 24 girls were selected for each age division, representing the four participating sections.
The Boys’ and Girls’ 16s Intersectional Showdown was held July 24–26 at Champions Club Tennis Complex in Chattanooga. Georgia was well represented among the selected players, with several juniors earning the opportunity to compete against some of the top players from across the country.
