Three of Georgia’s top junior talent were honored by USTA Southern at the recently held J. Randolph Gregson Southern Awards Luncheon, held Saturday January 20th.
Congratulations to Mia Yamakita (Johns Creek, center) & Aidan Atwood (Suwanee, right), recognized as the 2023 USTA Southern DeWitt Redgrave III Junior Achievement Award winners. Given in memory of DeWitt Redgrave III, this award is presented an outstanding Southern girl & boy ranked in the 18’s in recognition of their tennis performance and sportsmanship.
Congratulations to Ryan Cozad (Alpharetta, left) on receiving the prestigious Ozaki-Hastings Junior Sportsmanship Award. Named to honor the work and dedication put in on behalf of former USTA Southern staff members Bill Ozaki & Sandy Hastings, it is given to a junior player who best exemplifies the finest qualities of sportsmanship in tournament play and the finest traditions of the great sportsmen past and present.
