Georgia Juniors Rise to the Challenge at Southern National Level 4 Clay Court Opens

Georgia juniors delivered outstanding performances across the Southern Section’s National Level 4 Clay Court Opens held June 20-22 at four host sites throughout the South. The tournaments featured the Boys’ and Girls’ 12s in Pelham, Alabama, the 14s in Greensboro, North Carolina, the 16s in Dothan, Alabama, and the 18s in Jackson, Mississippi.

Greensboro enjoyed ideal playing conditions with no rain delays, while Pelham experienced only minor interruptions. Dothan faced several rain delays that pushed the tournament into Monday evening, with the final matches concluding around 9:30 p.m. Jackson encountered the most significant weather challenges, as persistent rain prevented the tournament from being fully completed on Monday.
