Carolina is an accomplished tennis professional, coach, and internationally recognized competitive player. Originally from Brazil, she was a top-four junior player and represented Brazil at the South American Championships before becoming a standout NCAA Division I athlete at Winthrop University. She played No. 1 singles and doubles and earned numerous honors, including Winthrop’s Roddy Award as Athlete of the Year, Conference Player of the Year in both singles and doubles for three consecutive years, and induction into the Winthrop Athletics Hall of Fame.
Today, Carolina serves as Head Teaching Professional at Augusta Country Club in Augusta, Georgia. She continues to compete at the highest levels of senior tennis, earning USTA National Championships and Gold Balls, ITF titles, and national and international rankings. She has represented Team USA at multiple Adult Senior World Cups, most recently helping the U.S. Ladies 50s team reach the 2026 World Cup final in Rome. Her recent honors include 2024 RSPA Southern Professional of the Year, 2025 RSPA Southern Player of the Year, and 2025 USTA Georgia Adult Player of the Year, as well as the 2024 USTA Clay Court National Singles Championship and 2025 ITF Barcelona 50s Singles and Mixed Championships.
Beyond her competitive career, Carolina holds an advanced MBA from Queens University and is passionate about leadership, player development, and creating exceptional member experiences. She is especially passionate about Junior Team Tennis, both as a parent and as a tennis professional, because she believes it is one of the nicest, most welcoming, and friendliest ways for children to learn how to compete, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of the game. Carolina is also an international tennis speaker and published author of two books in English, Portuguese, and Spanish. Together with her husband, Marc, she is the proud parent of three children, two of each played JTT from ages 8-18.
