Congratulations to MACH Academy President/CEO Michael Harden, he has been selected for induction to the Black Tennis Hall of Fame Class of 2026.
Harden joins 10 others in this year’s class, including notable community leaders Marvin Hill, Jeri Ingram and Rance Brown.
As co-founder and CEO of MACH Academy, Inc., Harden has created a sustainable and inclusive tennis program that has introduced thousands of Black youth to the sport, many of whom would not have otherwise had access due to financial or social barriers. His programs provide year-round training, academic support, and life skills development, with a strong emphasis on discipline, education, and community responsibility.
Harden was honored individually by USTA Georgia in 2021 as the inaugural recipient of the prestigious John Callen “Excellence in Leadership” Award (pictured). The award recognizes a USTA, Community Tennis Association or NJTL staff member who exemplifies leadership and excellence in their organization.
The ceremony will take place on Saturday December 12th in Richmond, Virginia. Information about the induction ceremony is available here.
Congratulations!
