USTA Georgia Treasurer Mike Burnes was honored by the Coosa Valley Tennis Association (CVTA, Rome) last evening for his 20 years of dedicated service to both the sport and the organization.
Mike continues to be a driving force behind the growth and expansion of the sport in Floyd County and the surrounding areas, including the award-winning Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. A true local champion, Mike spent over two decades on the local CVTA Board, helping guide the organization to what it is today.
The evening featured a ceremony to honor Mike’s contributions, along with a tennis mixer for all participants.
