The ITF organized the first World Tennis Day on March 4, 2013;
The event was celebrated in 60 countries and included a tennis exhibition at Madison Square Garden.
What it’s about:
The day encourages people to try tennis, especially young people.
It also gives people the opportunity to learn more about tennis and influential tennis players throughout history.
