The 2026 HBCU National Tennis Championships are coming to South Fulton, Georgia, September 17–20, bringing together HBCU tennis players and programs for four days of competition, camaraderie and championship tennis.
This year’s event marks the 25th anniversary of the HBCU National Tennis Championships and will feature Division I and Division II team and individual championships.

The 2026 championships will feature 10 HBCU tennis programs competing across the men’s and women’s divisions.

Athletes will compete for both team and individual national championships, making for an exciting weekend of high-level collegiate tennis.

A 25-Year Tradition
The 2026 championships represent a major milestone for the HBCU National Tennis Championships. For 25 years, the event has helped highlight the talent, dedication and competitive spirit of HBCU tennis programs and athletes.
With some of the nation’s top HBCU tennis programs competing, this year’s event will showcase the strength and tradition of HBCU tennis while celebrating the accomplishments of student-athletes both on and off the court.
The championships are hosted in partnership with South Fulton Parks and Recreation, USTA Southern, USTA Georgia, USTA Atlanta and South Atlanta Community Tennis Association.
