Georgia junior players competed over Memorial Day weekend at the Level 5 Closed – Peach State Jr Closed Championships (Flighted Draws), held May 23–25, 2026, at the Rome Tennis Center at Berry College. Players from across the state came together for three days of competitive play and valuable match experience in one of Georgia’s premier junior events.
The tournament featured flighted draws designed to provide players with competitive opportunities throughout the weekend while showcasing strong performances, determination, and sportsmanship across all divisions.
In addition to championship titles, players had the opportunity to earn special recognition throughout the event. USTA Georgia awarded travel grants to the Boys’ and Girls’ 16s and 18s singles champions and finalists in Group A, supporting continued competitive opportunities for top-performing players.
Tournament semifinalists in singles, along with all doubles champions and finalists, were also recognized with Peach State commemorative towels, while all tournament participants received a Peach State event t-shirt.
