USTA Georgia extends our heartfelt congratulations to Atlanta-based veteran sportscaster (and a great friend of tennis) Sam Crenshaw. Sam will be honored this evening in Greensboro, North Carolina as the National Sports Media Association’s (NMSA) Georgia Sportscaster of the Year.
His service to USTA Georgia is recognizable, as he currently serves on the Advisory Council as a Presidential Appointee, a role he has been appointed to by three consecutive USTA Georgia Presidents. For many years, he has served as master of ceremonies at the annual USTA Georgia awards dinner celebration, held in conjunction with the Association’s Community Tennis Development Workshop. He has been recognized in the past by USTA Georgia as the Marc Kaplan Media Excellence Award winner.
